I have over 20 years of experience at a high-research university in both research development and leadership training. My services help others build the skills and confidence to write with purpose, acquire funding, lead purposefully, and achieve lasting success as individuals and institutions.
I spent 15 years starting and growing multiple research support offices. I managed, wrote, and edited several million dollars worth of proposals to a wide variety of federal agencies and philanthropic funders.

Over 15 years, I founded two research support offices, one at an interdisciplinary scientific institute and one at the university level. I also designed and recruited the inaugural director for a college-level office. I have consulted on the redesign of several other research-intensive universities.
